The Opportunity
My Viva Inc. is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the infrastructure that powers My Viva Plan®. You will own the systems and processes that enable rapid, reliable deployments and secure, scalable operations. Your mandate is to ensure uptime, accelerate delivery, and maintain compliance across environments. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to build automation, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement—while leading our transition to Azure App Services and related cloud-native solutions.

What You'll Do
Lead cloud infrastructure and automation
- Drive migration to modern Azure services (App Services, Functions, Front Door) and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket or Azure DevOps.
Ensure performance, security, and compliance
- Set up observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), optimize systems proactively, and enforce standards (OWASP, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
Collaborate with clinical content and technical teams
- Apply streamlined DevOps and QA practices into clinical content development pipelines.
Manage environments and continuous improvement
- Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) for repeatable deployments, identify bottlenecks, and advance DevOps maturity.
Build and empower cross-functional pods
- Shape technical teams into feature-focused pods of developers, designers, content specialists, and product managers, supported by DevOps and QA engineers.
Foster collaboration and technical excellence
- Act as a connector across teams, mentor on best practices and architecture, and promote knowledge sharing for a high-performing culture.

What Success Looks Like
- Predictable, automated deployments with minimal manual intervention.

- Successful migration and optimization of infrastructure on Azure App Services, including new micro-services matching new product feature-sets.
- Clear dashboards and metrics for performance and reliability.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- Expertise in Azure cloud services, including App Services, Containers, Functions, Front Door, and Storage.
- Strong skills in CI/CD, IaC, and scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell).
- Proficiency in web app and mobile app development (React, Javascript), especially backend frameworks (.NET), and database interactions (SQL).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and SaaS hosting infrastructure.
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP) and security frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Competence in quality assurance practices and tools (integrations and automations).
- Tools: Terraform, Azure DevOps, Prometheus/Grafana, Git, MS SQL, LambdaTest.
- Preferred: experience with microservices, QA automation tools, and Agile methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
