Job Purpose:

Responsible for delivering technology solutions that add strategic business value and will be involved in all stages of our development projects from the architecture, design, technical solutions and reviews. Also responsible for research, analysis and proposal of designs and solutions that adapt new technologies and industry best practices. Technical expertise in Linux systems, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, automation, observability and security, and will play a key role in shaping our infrastructure strategy to support scalable, secure, and high-performance environments.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Architecture & Design

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Linux, Container infrastructure for on-premises and cloud.
• Define system standards and best practices; ensure alignment with business goals through collaboration.
  
  

Systems, Virtualization & Kubernetes Administration

• Manage installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance of Linux servers and OpenShift platforms.
• Administer Nutanix AHV environments: VM provisioning, resource optimization, cluster health, and storage/network integration.
• Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticstack) for system checks.
  
  

Automation & DevOps

• Promote IaC adoption using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for provisioning and updates.
• Maintain automation scripts across hybrid cloud environments like Azure and on-premises.
  
  

Security & Compliance

• Oversee system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with CIS/NIST standards.
• Collaborate on monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Document security configurations, compliance procedures, SOPs, capacity management, and audits.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of job - related experience.
• Proven leader of technical teams in managing enterprise Linux and cloud environments.
• Skilled in Bash, Ansible and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals, performance tuning, capacity planning and Nutanix or KVM virtualization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps.
• Proficient in OpenShift, podman, and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experienced in automating and migrating across hybrid cloud for a workloads across GCP, Azure, and on-prem.
• Experience in Ansible automation platform and terraform tools.
• Familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticstack.
