JOB PURPOSE:
The Analyst in the Strategy Office will be responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic initiatives across the organization. The role holder will conduct in-depth data and market analysis, develop compelling presentations for senior leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance. The endeavor will directly inform business planning, performance tracking, and decision-making at the highest levels of our organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop concise and visually appealing presentations tailored to senior management, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough market research to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Use analytical and other techniques to perform data analysis and draw insights from available information.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise presentations for senior leadership.
- Automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Ensuring that data analysis is performed to a high standard.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure the accuracy of analyses.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or related fields
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics, or Tableau Certification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, research, or business intelligence
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to details
- Highly organized and ability to prioritise and delegate work
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis
