Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines across cloud infrastructure and developer workflows. This role focuses on enabling end-to-end automation for provisioning, patching, monitoring, security enforcement, and container management in enterprise-scale environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native automation, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and integration.
Develop automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, patching, monitoring, and security compliance.
Build self-service systems for developers and operations teams to streamline workflows.
Automate container orchestration, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Integrate APIs and event-driven architectures to support scalable automation.
Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and security scanning.
Collaborate with platform, operations, and development teams to align automation with business goals.
Maintain documentation and reusable automation modules for knowledge sharing and governance.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
Minimum 5+ years in automation engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD pipeline development.
Preferred 7+ years working with enterprise-scale automation and infrastructure as code.
Experience with large-scale automation platforms and self-service systems is highly desirable.

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Pulumi, ARM templates, CloudFormation.
Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt.
Workflow orchestration: Apache Airflow, GitHub Actions.
API development and integration for automation.
Event-driven and serverless automation architectures.
Development & Programming
Languages: Python/Java.
RESTful API design and microservices development.
Database integration and data pipeline automation.
Automated testing: unit, integration, end-to-end.
Git workflows and version control automation.
Code quality and security scanning automation.
Platform & Infrastructure Automation
Kubernetes and Docker automation.
Cloud resource provisioning and lifecycle management.
Monitoring and alerting automation.
Security policy enforcement and compliance scanning.

Certifications (Preferred)
Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer.
