2887 - Java React Fullstack Engineer

We are looking for a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, serverless, and AWS to join our growing team. You’ll design and deliver backend layers tailored to frontend apps, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BFF services for frontend applications.
• Implement RESTful APIs and enforce standards.
• Build serverless functions with AWS Lambda (or equivalent).
• Manage IAM, S3, and AWS CloudFormation for secure infrastructure.
• Optimize APIs with caching strategies.
• Automate deployments using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure API security, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and architecture teams.

Must Have:

• Node.js, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• AWS Lambda & serverless fundamentals
• AWS basics (IAM, S3)
• Strong REST API understanding
• BFF pattern knowledge
• CI/CD (GitLab Actions)
• AWS CloudFormation
• Security best practices
• Caching (in-memory/distributed)

Nice to Have:

• GraphQL schema design
• AWS AppSync (resolvers, caching, directives)
• Advanced AppSync authorization (Lambda authorizer)
• AWS X-Ray & CloudWatch
