We're looking for a commercially-minded Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of deep tech products that solve high-value problems for UK industry. You'll be responsible for identifying market opportunities, shaping product vision, and driving end-to-end product development and commercialisation. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of innovation, technology, and business strategy.
This role is being advertised as a Product Manager, however, we will call this role a Product Owner internally.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Duties)
- Discover and validate market opportunities, personas, and high-value problems.
- Define and evolve product vision, roadmap, and scalable configurations.
- Lead product pricing and business case development to ensure commercial viability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to translate needs into product requirements.
- Manage product backlog and prioritise features based on value.
- Oversee development, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management with strong stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in market research, opportunity validation, and customer persona development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
- Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, 5G, immersive and blockchain.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
