Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Associate to join their lean but impactful HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-performing financial services environment where you’ll take ownership of a broad range of HR responsibilities—with payroll making up 30–50% of your role.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, managing complex payroll across multiple jurisdictions while supporting core HR operations, recruitment, and learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Manage monthly payroll cycles
- Handle complex arrangements across UK and international entities
- Administer manual payroll for other entities via spreadsheets.
- Liaise with 3rd party providers for payroll oversight.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely, compliant payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate and secure payroll records.
HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee onboarding, contracts, offer letters, and reference checks.
- Maintain employee data and HRIS systems including performance and goal tracking.
- Support with other adhoc HR Administration
Recruitment Coordination
- Lead interview scheduling across time zones and stakeholders.
- Manage Assessment testing logistics and agency communications.
- Maintain recruitment tracking and contribute to process improvements.
- Support occasional hiring for multiple teams.
Learning & Development
- Review current L&D practices and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support onboarding and internal training initiatives.
- Collaborate with departments to build scalable development frameworks.
Performance Management
- Assist in updating performance guidance and goal-setting documentation.
- Ensure goals are tracked on HRIS systems and feedback cycles are supported.
Requirements:
- Strong payroll experience, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.
- Prior experience within Financial Services is a plus, but not mandatory
