Lead Frontend Developer - Shape the Future of Accounting Tech

Nagaris gives Australian accounting firms one accurate client record. We connect practice tools so firms can update data once and have it flow everywhere they work. We launched recently and already have 10 paying firms — now we’re hiring a Lead Frontend Developer to develop our Frontend as we grow.

You’ll report to our experienced CTO and spend most of your time building: designing, coding, and shipping high-impact Frontend screens and improvements to our platform

What you’ll do

• Design and ship customer-facing features in our React/TypeScript stack 
• Own the frontend architecture: component patterns, state management, API integration patterns 
• Turn complex accounting workflows into elegant, intuitive interfaces 
• Work directly with users to validate designs and iterate fast 
• Mentor future frontend hires as the team grows
• You'll spend 80%+ of your time coding, not in meetings.

You’ll be great at this if you have

• 5+ years building production React applications 
• Strong eye for UI/UX—you can design interfaces that make complex data feel simple 
• Deep TypeScript expertise and modern React patterns (hooks, context, custom abstractions) 
• Experience with data-heavy dashboards or form-intensive products 
• Can articulate design decisions and trade-offs clearly

Bonus points for: 

• Experience with accounting/fintech/SaaS products 
• AWS deployment experience 
• Django/Python familiarity
