Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Release Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for professionals with a strong background in DevOps and experience managing Oracle databases and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless release of Avaloq changes into production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the release of Avaloq changes across environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD processes.
- Maintain and optimize Oracle database deployments in production.
- Ensure system stability and performance during and after releases.
- Participate in one weekend on-call rotation per month (with time-in-lieu benefits).
- Contribute to the growth and maturity of the DevOps function within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Release Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo).
- Solid understanding of Oracle databases and SQL scripting.
- Familiarity with Avaloq or similar core banking systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with production support and on-call rotations.
