As a CAG UX Designer you will be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. We are a growing team looking for an ambitious and talented UX Designer to help craft first-class online experiences for our customers, across all our digital products and services.
It is an exciting time to join the team as we focus more and more on our digital experiences, using well known user centred design methods and the latest tools to design digital experiences our customers will love. We enjoy working in agile conditions so it’s important that you’re adaptable in your approach to collaborative user centred design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in our Ownership & Renewals squad: a multidisciplinary agile team with a Product Owner, Software Engineers, and more, who are responsible for bringing cinch customers back to our website for their motoring needs.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve the product and advocate for user-centred design. You'll influence your team to incorporate these into quarterly planning.
- Making sure your work is highly visible to stakeholders across the business (including Marketing, Operations, etc.) and bringing to life the vision for the product.
- Running multidisciplinary workshops to generate new ideas collaboratively.
- Designing user flows, journeys, interactions and interfaces that constitute faff-free customer experiences.
- Evaluating data and user insights to inform your design decisions and working closely with User Researchers so their involvement is timely and impactful.
- Contributing to a friendly community of Designers at CAG where you’ll lead sessions, share feedback on design projects, coach and learn from others about a better design practice.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a UX Designer, applying UX practice in tricky projects with real-world constraints.
- Competent communicator with confidence in sharing and justifying design decisions. You don't shy away from presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Good business acumen and understand the importance of measuring success through KPIs and conversion metrics, as well as user outcomes.
- Humble with a strong drive to learn from those around you.
- Extensive knowledge of UX design processes and user-centred design models; you're experienced in Lean UX and can negotiate for better user outcomes whilst delivering at pace.
- Enthusiastic and a creative thinker with lots of ideas, who wants to design delightful experiences for our customers.
- Sense of ownership and accountability of your domains.
- Proficient in Figma, with solid UI design and prototyping skills to get the most out of it.
Please note that only applications submitted in English will be considered.
Please also ensure your CV includes a link to your portfolio.
