About the role
We are seeking experienced Business Analysts and Microsoft D365 Functional Analysts to join high-performing agile delivery teams within a large, government-focused organisation. You will play a key role in delivering impactful ICT solutions that enhance business processes, improve user experience, and support organisational transformation. These positions involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, and Change Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, and design effective ICT solutions.
- Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and demonstrations to ensure clarity and alignment throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, developers, and testers to ensure business needs are met through high-quality technical solutions.
- Support and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure outcomes align with business objectives.
- Produce comprehensive documentation such as business cases, system use cases, and user manuals to support implementation and adoption.
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Microsoft D365 Functional Analyst, working across complex ICT systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform (for Functional Analyst roles).
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery frameworks, including backlog management and sprint planning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to develop logical and effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
Desirable
- Experience working in a geographically dispersed agile team.
- Previous experience within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and ITSM Incident/Problem Management principles.
- Ability to manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
