Job Title: Project Director - CSA Bias
Location: Vienna, Austria
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Managing Director / Regional Director
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and overall direction across multiple large-scale projects.
- Develop and implement project execution plans, budgets, and schedules in line with company and client objectives.
- Oversee all project phases — design management, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and commercial staff to achieve performance and delivery targets.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships including clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
- Drive health, safety, quality, and sustainability standards across all operations.
- Monitor project financial performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Report regularly to senior management and clients on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, including at least 5 years in a senior project leadership role (Project Director / Senior Project Manager level).
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments (experience with data centres, healthcare, or infrastructure projects an advantage).
- Strong understanding of design, commercial, contractual, and risk management processes.
- Familiarity with FIDIC or other international standard forms of contract.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency or willingness to learn is highly desirable.
- Eligibility to work in Austria or ability to relocate.
