What You'll Be Doing

We are currently seeking a Software Developer, Test Automation to join our Apix product development team. With Apix, companies can trust that their invoices and business documents are delivered smoothly, securely, and without hassle. In this role, you will be working together with the software development team, collaborating with developers and architects through the full software development lifecycle (planning, coding, deployment). Your role will have a strong focus on test automation, CI/CD, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for the usefulness and effectiveness of automated tests
• Ensuring the availability of test results and monitor test coverage
• Overseeing automation testing feedback loops
• Working closely with the developers to identify test scenarios for automating needs
• Designing, maintaining, executing and developing automated tests, as well as improving test frameworks as needed

Although your everyday work will be situated in the Apix product development team, you will also have the support of our centralized Test Automation team at Accountor Software. Therefore, this role is the perfect place for you if you thrive in cross-functional teams, like sharing your knowledge with your peers as well as adapting new technologies and ideas.

At Accountor Software we embrace a flexible hybrid model, allowing you to balance collaboration at the office with the freedom to work remotely. Our Apix product team works in a hybrid way visiting the Espoo office at least once a week (every Thursday), so we expect to see you there as well.

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a technically strong test automation professional who can independently drive test automation tasks end-to-end. To succeed in this position, we are looking for an experienced professional who has:

• Several years of extensive experience working as a Test Automation Developer in agile product development environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and test suites for SaaS products in a microservices/cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience collaborating closely with product development and DevOps to ensure automated, reliable software delivery and continuous integration as well as experience participating in feature planning (providing input on testability and quality gates for releases)
• Experience with modern automation and testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Jest, Postman, Junit, Vitest)
• Proficiency in programming languages (preferably TypeScript and JavaScript) and some understanding of frontend technologies (relevant frameworks include e.g. Vue.js, React, REST API)
• Solid understanding of public cloud (Azure or AWS is preferred), containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), and CI/CD practices (e.g. Github Actions)
• Background in technically renewing or modernizing legacy systems with a focus on quality assurance.
• Prior experience mentoring and guiding team members on modern software testing strategies and tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Finnish language skills are appreciated.

Nice to have:

• Experience with multi-agent workflow (e.g. Temporal)
• Experience in testing complex integrations, business messaging or e-invoicing platforms
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development process

Please note that we’re looking for someone to start in January 2026, and passing the standard security clearance vetting conducted by the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service is a requirement for employment in this position. The employer begins the security clearance process immediately after both parties have signed the employment contract.
