About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global organization, is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer (Mobile Apps) to join a dynamic technology team working on innovative digital products in the utilities sector. This role will focus on delivering high-quality, responsive mobile applications using modern front-end technologies and frameworks, contributing to projects that make a tangible impact.

As a Front-End Developer (Mobile Apps), you will design and implement high-performance, responsive applications using React Native, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while ensuring strong integration with back-end services. You’ll play a key role in shaping user experiences, optimizing application performance, and upholding quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile and web applications using React Native, React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure front-end build quality aligns with established software development standards.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless functionality.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Implement security by design, GDPR compliance, and accessibility standards within front-end code.
• Deploy and maintain applications across iOS and Google Play Store environments.
• Work with DevOps concepts and tools, including Azure ADB2C, API Management (APIM), and App Services.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain documentation, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Participate in UI/UX design discussions, contributing ideas for improving user experience and interface consistency.
• Operate effectively within an Agile DevSecOps environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Mobile Front-End Developer.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with React Native, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and design integration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms.
• Experience working with Cloud Technologies, particularly Azure.
• Solid understanding of secure software design and software security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable:

• Experience with incident, change management, and transition processes.
