MCA Spain is a company specialized in Software and IT, and we work on cutting-edge projects for clients in sectors such as Life Science, Aeronautics, Energy, Mobility, Banking, Insurance, Telcos...

MCA Engineering is based in France, but we have offices in other parts of the world: Sweden, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy,... We are growing fast in Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) and right now we need to expand our Data Engineering team.

For a client in a critical system where high availability, resilience and low latency must always be kept in mind. You will be working on a product with a lot of visibility where the demands are maximum and decision making has a great impact. You will collaborate with very high-level, multi-disciplinary technical teams and help them define solutions that deliver value as quickly as possible without compromising the platform.

Your Profile

  • Your main mission will be to define the technical direction of zara.com's backend services. To do so:
  • You will do proofs of concept.
  • You will accompany the technical leaders in the definition of new components.
  • You will mentor developers in product development teams.
  • You will make code contributions that will serve as an example for other developers to follow.
  • Understand the complexity and characteristics of online sales and propose technical improvements to the product.
  • To be able to participate in the design and implementation of systems based on distributed services.
  • You have a deep knowledge of Java development patterns and architectures.
  • You have actively participated in the design and development of REST APIs.
  • That you care about development quality, maintainability and code cleanliness.
  • You will be able to detect development flows that can be improved and know how to optimise them using IC/DC technologies.
  • You have passion, a great capacity for self-management, an attitude of continuous improvement and learning

Your profile

  • You have experience with Spring.
  • That you have played with protobuf and gRPC.
  • You have been part of a Scrum team.
  • Understand the "trade offs" of a CQRS architecture.
  • That you know and share the fundamentals of DDD.
  • You have had development experience in cloud technologies.
  • You have participated in the definition of an API strategy and are familiar with standard specifications such as OpenAPI.
  • You have worked on systems based on asynchronous communication protocols: queuing, messaging, events, etc
