About the role:

The Production team at StoryToys is pivotal in the creation and delivery of our suite of apps. The Associate Producer supports the creative, commercial and technical teams across an array of critical functions, with a focus on product delivery. AP's manage  the day-to-day running of the production pipeline, with responsibility across asset management, production scheduling, team balance, roadmap delivery and release support. Your expertise in Scrum and Agile practices will deliver exceptional content while promoting a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and innovation. As an AP, you will help the team balance commercial imperatives with the needs of our audience. You will support product development, management and reporting across our portfolio. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

• Support Production Planning: Help manage project schedules and priorities with production tool kit, including Jira, Miro and MS office. Ensure tasks are clearly defined, estimated, and ready for development.
• Champion Agile Practices: Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups to keep progress on track and encourage teamwork and transparency.
• Coordinate Global Teams: Foster strong communication and collaboration across disciplines and time zones. Anticipate team issues, manage balance, keeping everyone on the same page.
• Manage Creative Production:
• Organize new project kickoffs and keep documentation up to date.
• Facilitate creativity across the production phases, ideas and feature proposals.
• Support gathering and refining requirements.
• Drive Quality and Efficiency: Track milestones, budgets, and deliverables, helping the team maintain high standards throughout production.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with producers, developers, creative, marketing and IP partners to align on product approvals and deliverables.
• Manage Assets and Documentation: Oversee project documentation, organize digital assets, and support external publishing partners.
• Encourage Improvement: Identify ways to enhance workflows, streamline processes, and continuously raise the bar for quality.
• Develop insight and understand risks: Analyse the pipeline to anticipate issues and risks, generate recommendations and hone a deep insight into production best practices.  
  

Who'll You Be:

• A scrum expert - You will have proven experience in project management within the digital media, entertainment, or software development industry, with a focus on Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• A multi-tasker - You have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• A great communicator - You will provide clear and open communication on the project across all levels.
• A problem solver - Surface, assess, and resolve complex production problems, suggest alternatives. You'll mitigate risk with a high level of anticipation and proactiveness (quality & scheduling risk management).
• A diplomat - you'll work hard to align our teams towards common goals and create symbiosis between StoryToys and our partners.
• You'll be organized, with fierce attention to detail.
• A decision maker who can make calls and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  

What You'll Need:

• 2-3 years as an associate producer, a scrum master or in a tangential role in QA, Art Creation, Animation, Engineering or Production.
• Ability to operate through ambiguity whilst providing clear insights to the team.
• A strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, comfortable implementing different methodologies adaptive to the teams and goals.
• Experience in planning and collaborating via an array of planning techniques.
• Fluent in Jira, Excel and Miro.

Nice To Have:

• A love of classic and new children's media and understanding of what children enjoy.
• Experience in shipping titles and/or live operations of at least 2 titles, across multiple platforms.
• Experience managing large features or bodies of work outsourced with a vendor.
