M&A & Corporate Development Analyst


The candidate will be part of the M&A and Corporate Development team, responsible for generating, structuring, managing and executing mergers, acquisitions, and other key strategic corporate development projects.


Main responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and benchmarking
  • Develop detailed corporate research and analysis based on financial statements, financial and business modelling
  • Perform company valuations using the main valuation methodologies
  • Build complex financial models to support deal structuring
  • Preparation of internal and external presentation (investment decks, management presentation, market presentation)
  • Support in managing the complete M&A process, from project management to due diligence and preparation/execution of legal documentation
  • Work with other corporate functions (e.g. legal, accounting, control, etc.) in designing and implementing M&A and other corporate development/finance activities

Capabilities

  • Outstanding analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Solid knowledge of the relevant M&A and corporate finance tools (e.g. valuation methodologies, financial modelling, etc.)
  • Clear understanding of business and corporate finance principles
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with financial data providers (Factset/Bloomberg) is a plus

Education and Work Experience

  • Degree in finance/economics/management
  • 1-3 years of prior relevant experience (M&A/valuation in corporate, advisory or financial institutions)
  • Proficiency in Italian and English
