M&A & Corporate Development Analyst
The candidate will be part of the M&A and Corporate Development team, responsible for generating, structuring, managing and executing mergers, acquisitions, and other key strategic corporate development projects.
Main responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and benchmarking
- Develop detailed corporate research and analysis based on financial statements, financial and business modelling
- Perform company valuations using the main valuation methodologies
- Build complex financial models to support deal structuring
- Preparation of internal and external presentation (investment decks, management presentation, market presentation)
- Support in managing the complete M&A process, from project management to due diligence and preparation/execution of legal documentation
- Work with other corporate functions (e.g. legal, accounting, control, etc.) in designing and implementing M&A and other corporate development/finance activities
Capabilities
- Outstanding analytical and financial modelling skills
- Solid knowledge of the relevant M&A and corporate finance tools (e.g. valuation methodologies, financial modelling, etc.)
- Clear understanding of business and corporate finance principles
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Familiarity with financial data providers (Factset/Bloomberg) is a plus

Education and Work Experience
- Degree in finance/economics/management
- 1-3 years of prior relevant experience (M&A/valuation in corporate, advisory or financial institutions)
- Proficiency in Italian and English
