SAP FICO Architect

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented SAP FICO Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of SAP financial and controlling solutions.

In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of SAP-related projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices. You will work closely with global teams and stakeholders, driving innovation and efficiency across financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of SAP FICO experts, ensuring smooth execution of operations
• Build, manage, and mentor high-performing SAP FICO teams across multiple global locations
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, staffing, performance evaluation, promotions, and compensation
• Drive global strategic initiatives aimed at developing and expanding the SAP FICO discipline
• Develop proposals and prepare statements of work for SAP FICO projects in collaboration with IT teams and business stakeholders
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing delivery expectations, team performance, and adherence to project timelines
• Maintain deep expertise in SAP FICO, ensuring compliance with industry best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align SAP FICO operations with broader business goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP systems, particularly in FICO modules
• Minimum of 3 years in leadership roles such as Manager, Architect, Owner, or Coordinator
• At least 2 years of experience managing teams of 20 or more employees
• Participation in at least 5 full-cycle SAP project implementations or experience launching a product or significant product feature to market
• Expertise in Agile (Scrum) methodologies and a deep understanding of software and application architecture
• Functional experience and advanced knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including financial and controlling processes
• Involvement in pre-sales activities and client engagement for SAP projects
• Proven ability to balance business and people management responsibilities effectively
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
