Financial Strategy & Data Analytics Officer (M/F/D)
Positioning
Reporting to the Head of the Financial Strategy Unit, you will work at the intersection of the Financial Strategy (FS) and the Analytical Center of Expertise (ACE) teams.
Core Mission
Your role is to support the formulation and monitoring of the organization's financial strategy. By combining financial analysis and data science, you will help ensure long-term financial sustainability, optimize resources, and maximize market impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Monitoring : Develop and manage the Strategic Target System (STS), including defining KPIs, automating data collection, and producing analytical reports for senior management.
- Modelling & Analysis : Build and maintain financial models and dynamic datasets to perform scenario analysis and projections.
- Data Expertise : Act as an internal data science expert by developing analytical tools, promoting a data-driven culture, and guiding teams on their use.
- Cross-functional Projects : Participate in inter-departmental projects, providing both a strategic and an analytical perspective.
- Education: University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Finance, Strategy, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, financial modelling, or corporate strategy, ideally within the financial sector.
- Proven experience in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets using tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS or Alteryx, and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); Excellent command of Excel (VBA is a plus).
- Experience in creating strategic dashboards is a major asset.
- Skills in quantitative modelling and statistical analysis are an advantage.
- Fluent written (At least C1) and spoken English (At least C1) is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- A strategic, creative, and results-oriented mindset.
- A high sense of initiative, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
