One of the companies we collaborate with at Joppy, a TOP Cybersecurity startup, is looking for a Frontend Developer to join the team.
Work modality: Hybrid in Barcelona.
We are looking for a Frontend Developer with a proven track record in production-level applications. As part of our team, you’ll lead the development and architecture of a groundbreaking cybersecurity platform. You’ll be responsible for designing new features, improving security and performance. This role involves both remote work and regular in-person collaboration in our offices in Barcelona.
What You’ll Do
• Develop, test, and maintain highly scalable and secure frontend applications.
• Ensure best practices for cybersecurity are followed throughout the development process.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
What We’re Looking for in a Developer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern frameworks (SvelteKit, Nuxt, NextJS, or similar).
- Experience with SvelteKit (Svelte 5) is highly valued, but not mandatory.Framework flexibility and solid understanding of modern frontend architectures is a must.
- Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and responsive, accessible UI development.
- Solid background in Vite or other modern build tools.
- Proven experience with unit tests and end-to-end tests (preferably with Playwright).
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Amplify, etc.).
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with security best practices and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.
