Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a CV/ML Engineer to work with one of the leading global tech giants, based in Zurich.

The role is to join their contigent workforce (contract) initially on a one year contract which can be 100% be extended, through to 18 months.

This team work remotely from all across the world, but you must be in Switzerland.

The team are currently driving efforts to developer and prototype CV based expeirences that provide creativity and social play experiences for people connecting through their AR/VR products. Lot of work designing and building efficient data pipelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build and launch efficient CV/ML models and evaluate them in real-time and on mobile device.

• Develop prototypes for future AR/VR experiences, cutting edge research, drive continued development, or integrate robust solutions into products

• Code using Python and efficient real-time CV/ML libraries.

• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.

• Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance.

• Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in Python and CV/ML development

• Experience in building and maintaining scalable CV/ML pipelines (image processing, model training)

• Experience with CV/ML performance and runtime optimization

• Experience with Data Modeling.

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Designing and implementing real-time CV/ML pipelines.

• ML Model optimization and on-device deployment

Designing and implementing data pipelines for CV/ML systems.
