💼 Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in enterprise application development to design and implement the Operative Data Lake (ODL) platform for our client in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Java Enterprise, Apache Camel, and Kafka, along with exposure to modern DevOps practices and cloud-native environments.

🔧 Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement the ODL platform in alignment with architectural and business requirements.
• Develop integration solutions using Apache Camel, Java DSL, and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architects and Business Analysts to design service-layer solutions.
• Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven data processing.
• Implement unit testing and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines, automate tests, and ensure quality delivery using tools like Git, SonarQube, and Azure DevOps.
• Work with Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and OCI for containerized deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Ensure application security and stability, including basic TLS debugging.
• Follow SAFe Agile practices for iterative development and delivery.

✅ Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java Enterprise development.
• Strong expertise in Apache Camel, Java DSL, JUnit, Mockito/PowerMock, Maven, and REST.
• Exposure to Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and JSON.
• Experience with Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.
• Working knowledge of TLS debugging and monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, delivery pipelines, and test automation.

✨ Preferred Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• DevOps experience with tools such as GIT, Jacoco, SonarQube, Azure DevOps.
• Experience collaborating with Architects and Business Analysts for service layer design.
• Knowledge of estimation techniques for project/task planning.
• Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
