Role Overview:

Medserv are seeking a talented and ambitious senior-level PHP Full Stack Developer to join our team of developers working on a wide variety of existing and new web-based applications used within the Medical Billing Industry.

This position is an initial 12 month rolling B2B contract based in Poland.

The core of the role will revolve around maintaining, improving and expanding our web-based client software. We are also creating new and different systems to cater for our clients' needs which gives the candidate the ability to get involved in all aspects of application development working alongside various stakeholders.

The Ideal Applicant:

Will love using PHP and MySQL to create everything from a simple website to complex command line tools.

You enjoy working with frontend technologies/ frameworks alongside backend technologies/ frameworks and will be comfortable dealing with technical debt whilst also executing constructive, incremental improvements.

You don't want to spend all your time on a single project and not just writing code; instead you want to be involved in how the systems are designed.

You will be able to deliver results quickly and enjoy working with legacy codebases.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient with front end frameworks like React.JS/Vue.JS.
• Good working knowledge of MySQL used in conjunction with PHP.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, etc.
• Unit testing implementation with CI/CD.
• Comfortable writing, building and operating within docker.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test and maintain the legacy (PHP7.2) core product software and databases to debug and improve existing functionality.
• Version Control experience with git.
• Assist in writing development specs to enhance the system and to allow for more efficient work practices.
• Strong proficiency working with the Laravel Framework (4 years+) would be advantageous
• Be a self-starting, quick learner and able to make design decisions unaided.
• Be able to work with other people, both users and programmers, as well as being able to work on your own.

Package:

• This Role Is an initial 12 month rolling B2B contract
• Salary 20,000 - 25,000 PLN DOE
