Junior Product Owner Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated eagerness in entrepreneurship/startup ecosystem
• Demonstrated eagerness in product management activities
• Candidates must be in their 4ᵗʰ year of their Bachelor’s degree
• Good command of written and spoken English

Junior Product Owner Job Description

We are looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of the products that Smartup Network builds. The activities will be led by the Product Manager and will include hands-on training on Software Development Life Cycle and startup concepts. 

This is a hybrid role that requires two days of office work at minimum

The product owner responsibilities' will be including but not limited to:

• Communicating with our entrepreneur partners to understand the business needs of their MVPs
• Building mockups
• Communicating with the development team to make sure business requirements are fully and exactly understood
• Making release plans for development
• Testing the functionality of the product to make sure it is working as intended
• Understanding and discovering customer pain points and defining them as a formulation to be solved by development the team.
• Keeping up with user needs via user interviews, customer demos, feedback sessions.
• Taking part in generating, managing, prioritizing and developing product items
• Monitor the progress of product development and product release plans
