Role – UX/UI Designer - UX Focused

Salary – AED 25,000 -- AED 30,000 MAX Per Month

Contract length – 6 Months (with the view to extend)

Location – Dubai

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for reimagining and improving the user experience of an existing digital platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders—to understand current pain points, user behaviours, and business objectives, and translate them into intuitive, user-centric, and visually engaging digital experiences.

Secondly, alongside UX, you will have the UI responsibilities, where you will be the designer that plays key role in transforming the visual experience of a digital platform. Collaborating with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging, intuitive, and consistent interfaces that align with the brand identity and enhance user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability audits to understand existing platform challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Create wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and interaction designs that align with business requirements and user needs.
• Lead usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and iteratively refine solutions.
• Collaborate closely with UI designers, developers, and product teams to ensure seamless design-to-development handover.
• Advocate for UX principles and accessibility standards throughout the redesign process.
• Contribute to and help evolve the platform’s design system for consistency and scalability.
• Design visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile platforms based on updated wireframes and UX guidelines.
• Develop high-fidelity mock-ups, responsive layouts, and interactive prototypes that reflect best practices in modern interface design.
• Ensure consistent visual language across all screens and components by contributing to and maintaining a scalable design system in Figma or other tool like Zero height.
• Translate user insights, branding guidelines, and functional requirements into polished UI designs.
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and product managers to ensure seamless implementation and pixel-perfect execution.
• Support usability testing by preparing visual prototypes and refining designs based on feedback.
• Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, design tools, and technologies to bring innovation to the project.

Requirements (UX / Product)

• 6 to 8 years of UX design experience, including work on complex digital platforms or enterprise products.
• Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
• Solid understanding of user-centred design, information architecture, and usability principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to present design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments.
• Experience working for large complex government organizations

Requirements (UI)

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in UI design, preferably for digital platforms or enterprise applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing modern, user-centred interface designs across various device types.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and responsive design principles.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience working for large complex government organizations
• Real estate services experience a plus
