About the Project:
This role involves managing high voltage electrical works on a major substation and data center project in Skien, Norway. The project duration is 18 months, and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all electrical high voltage site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all site activities related to high voltage electrical works for both the substation and data center.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgear, protection relays).
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian regulations, international electrical standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Lead and oversee the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on site, enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues promptly.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Ensure resource planning and allocation (personnel, materials, equipment) aligns with project needs
