The company is currently seeking a Software Developer to join its collaborative, fast-paced development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a well-established platform with real-world impact, contributing to the continuous enhancement and expansion of its digital learning products.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Work as part of a small, agile team to design, build, test, and roll out new features and improvements to our LMS platform.
  • Pick up development tickets, figure out what’s needed, build the solution, and take it through code review and into production.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business, including product, support, marketing, and sales, to make sure what you’re building meets everyone’s needs.
  • Maintain and optimise existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and security.
  • Get involved in DevOps tasks using AWS, such as:
  • Monitoring and responding to infrastructure issues
  • Managing deployments and environments
  • Finding ways to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Take part in code reviews to keep our standards high and our codebase clean.
  • Keep clear documentation so everyone’s on the same page.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and suggest ideas to make our platform even better.


What You’ll Need


  • Solid experience with PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, Vue, and MySQL.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical people.
  • A good understanding of testing, documentation, and version control.
  • The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment


Bonus Points For


  • Experience using Git or another version control system.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
  • An interest in e-learning technologies or LMS platforms.
