Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Executive to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of HR experience, preferably with exposure to payroll administration and recruitment support, and is looking to grow in a full-spectrum HR role.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR databases accurately.
- Prepare HR-related letters, contracts, and documentation.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, clearance, and exit formalities.
- Manage employee attendance, leave administration, and timekeeping systems.
2. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Assist in monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle CPF submissions, income tax filings, and government claims (e.g. childcare, NS, maternity).
- Support preparation of annual IR8A and IR21 forms.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll reconciliation and reimbursements.
3. Recruitment & Talent Coordination
- Assist in posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews.
- Support pre-employment screening, offer letters, and onboarding logistics.
- Liaise with hiring managers and recruitment partners where required.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and MOM regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR documents.
- Prepare HR reports and assist with internal or external audits.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant HR experience, preferably with payroll and recruitment exposure.
- Knowledge of CPF, IRAS submissions, and employment legislation.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/payroll software.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Possession of a valid CEI (Basic or Advanced) certification will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and learning attitude.
