Gamepad / Gaming Controller Integration / Mobile Gaming Input Systems Engineer

Location: Remote (GMT+9 timezone) / Hybrid (Singapore)

Moonshot is looking for a Controller Gamepad/Input Systems Integration Specialist to help bridge our hardware with global mobile gaming titles across Android, iOS and cloud gaming platforms, to ensure flawless controller compatibility and gameplay experiences.

You’ll define integration standards, build test cases, create user guides, and provide hands-on technical support to ensure a smooth player experience across genres, devices, and titles.

• Define games <> controller integration standards, process, documentation and technical guides across Android (HID) and iOS (MFi) ecosystems
• Design and maintain test cases and validation workflows to verify controller functionality, latency, and gameplay responsiveness
• Collaborate with mobile game studios and partners to implement, test, and optimise controller support within their titles
• Contribute to the design and development of the Moonshot Controller SDK, including input APIs, calibration tools, and developer documentation
• Work with firmware team to refine controller technical specifications
• Discover, curate and integrate games into our games library, verifying controller gameplay compatibility and user experience
• Work closely with internal teams on product/partnership launch timelines, demos, and integration technical support/troubleshooting

• Prior experience in working on bluetooth controller mapping, gamepads, gaming-related hardware-software interfacing or mobile gaming input systems highly preferred
• Understanding of and familiarity with the following preferred:

1. Unity and/or Unreal Engine input systems
2. Android Input Device API, iOS GameController framework, or HID protocols
3. WebGL / HTML5 mini-games and input mapping
4. Controller testing or emulator environments

• Passion for gaming, mobile ecosystems, and/or Web3
• Comfortable working with remote development teams and external partners
