Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administration and support for Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Aruba, Palo Alto network environments.
  • Hands-on experience with network platforms including ACI, Cisco, Arista, F5, Check Point, Palo Alto, and Huawei.
  • Patch Management & Vulnerability Management – plan, assess, deploy, and troubleshoot firmware upgrades and patches (Mandatory).
  • Handle troubleshooting related to patching/firmware upgrade issues (Mandatory).
  • Execute patching and rollback strategies for network and firewall devices.
  • Work with patch management tools like NetBot and similar platforms.
  • Automate pre- and post-patching tasks where possible.
  • Conduct BIOS and firmware upgrades across network devices.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco platforms is required.
  • Analyze and interpret network flows for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Solid experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
  • Switching: VLAN, Bundling Mechanisms, Ethernet, STP variants.
  • Routing: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • Security: Standard and Extended Access-lists.
  • Perform log monitoring and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure consistent documentation of SOPs, inventory, and SLA reporting.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10–15 years in Network and Firewall Administration.
  • Certifications: CCNP Certification is mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and incident resolution at L3 level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience working in SLA-driven environments with multiple customers/stakeholders.
  • Hands-on leadership – this role is not just people management.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage and deliver continuous improvements in operations.
  • Promote team cross-skilling and knowledge sharing.
  • Flexibility to work in dynamic and changing environments.
  • Willingness to work weekends as per roster and provide off-hours support during weekdays as needed.
  • (Compensatory off will be provided for weekend work.)
