JOB TITLE
Associate Product Designer (UX/UI)
LOCATION
Remote – Anywhere in the world
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to our user-centered design process, working directly on our enterprise SaaS products. You will support the team in building user experiences with a strong focus on research and a strategic mindset, helping to ensure our technology is simple and accessible.
What You'll Do
- User Research: You will assist in planning and conducting user research, including gathering data, conduct interviews, and helping to synthesize findings. Your contributions will help the team uncover key user insights.
- Translate Research into Design: Under the guidance of senior designers, you will translate research findings into structured user experiences. This includes creating user flows, mapping information architecture, and developing wireframes and prototypes.
- Contribute to Strategic Design: You will collaborate with the team to understand product roadmaps and business goals. Your work will support the team’s efforts to align design solutions with a strong user-centric approach.
- Iterate and Refine: You will assist in testing design concepts with users, incorporating feedback, and utilizing data from sources like A/B testing, heatmaps, and analytics to refine designs.
- UX Writing & Microcopy: You will craft clear and concise text for interface elements, including buttons, error messages, and microcopy, to improve the user experience.
- Learn and Grow: You will contribute to the team’s design system and learn to promote a user-centric mindset across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A portfolio that demonstrates your interest in and understanding of the design process, including a focus on UX problem-solving.
- Foundational knowledge of UX research methods and an eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency in Figma, with familiarity with visual design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator being a plus.
- Experience in UX research, usability testing, and user behavior analysis.
- A strong understanding of visual design principles and a keen eye for detail.
- Communication and Collaboration: You can clearly articulate design decisions and the rationale behind them to a variety of audiences, including developers, product managers, and clients. Actively listen to feedback and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
