About The Role

We're seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll lead the successful delivery of complex software and service projects that improve transport outcomes for customers and communities.

You'll work closely with customers, technical leads, and internal teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest standard. Requirements

What You'll Do

As Project Manager, you will:

• Lead and coordinate multiple project teams to deliver ITS software and services projects
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical leads to achieve project objectives
• Track progress against milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
• Prepare accurate project documentation, including reports, dashboards, and financial summaries
• Manage resources and workloads effectively, ensuring optimal project performance
• Communicate clearly and regularly with customers and senior management, providing transparency on status, risks, and opportunities
• Ensure projects adhere to Transmax's PMO governance framework, including earned value tracking, financial reporting, and compliance with commercial and customer obligations
  
  

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Project Manager who thrives in a technical, fast-moving environment. Your skills and experience will include:

• Significant experience managing cross-functional project teams, ideally in large or multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and motivate teams
• Demonstrated experience managing IT or system deployment projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Experience in resource planning and management
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently at customer sites while maintaining collaboration with internal teams
• Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint (2010 or later)

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, IT, or Engineering
• Exposure to Agile project environments or certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM)
• Experience with Salesforce/Certinia PSA is highly regarded
