Client: Our client – a global leader in secure communications and high-performance technology solutions
Start Date: October 1, 2025
Duration: Until September 30, 2027 (24 months)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Remote Work: Up to 3 days per week possible (depending on project and company policy)
Security Clearance: No Ü2 required, NfD briefing necessary
Languages: Fluent/Negotiation-level German + Basic English
About the Role Our client is seeking a P2/P1 Security Architect / Security Specialist (m/f/d) to join their Cybersecurity Architecture & Certification team in Munich.
This is an exceptional opportunity to shape security design, certification, and compliance strategies for cutting-edge technologies used across critical infrastructure and defense sectors.
You’ll play a central role in defining secure architectures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with European and international cybersecurity standards such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO27001, and NIS-2.

You’ll play a central role in defining secure architectures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with European and international cybersecurity standards such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO27001, and NIS-2.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate product architectures and security concepts for certification and compliance.
- Define and verify security measures to achieve product and project security goals.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat and vulnerability analyses, and define corresponding requirements.
- Support developers by enabling secure implementation practices.
- Implement information security frameworks in accordance with ISO27001 and NIS-2.
- Ensure alignment with BSI IT-Grundschutz, EU Cyber Resilience Act, Data Act, and Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
- Proven hands-on experience in Cybersecurity / IT Security (must-have).
- Strong understanding of BSI IT-Grundschutz and EU Security Standards.
- Experience with approval and certification processes (e.g., Common Criteria).
- Solid knowledge of ISO27001 and NIS-2 implementation.
- Process-oriented and structured working style.
- Not suitable for career starters – professional experience required.
- Mid-Level (3–5 years experience): €75,000 – €90,000 gross/year
- Senior Level (5+ years experience): €90,000 – €100,000 gross/year
- Work with a globally recognized technology innovator in secure communications and high-tech solutions.
- Influence mission-critical security architectures that drive European cybersecurity resilience.
- Flexible hybrid working model (up to 3 days remote).
