Node.js Developer – Backend

Full-time | Long term | On site & Remote

As a Node.js Developer, you will join our team specializing in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security management software packages. It is an incubator for ADVANCED IOT SOLUTIONS such as: Smart Security Monitoring, Smart Buildings & Facility Services, Cloud Business & Smart House Technologies, Fleet Management, Traffic Management, Urban Surveillance.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Node.js Developer to join our team of developers and product managers and ensure quality throughout the development cycle of our security monitoring products. The assignment is on a long term basis.

What will you do

Passionate about latest and cutting-edge technologies,
Review code, designs, and discuss solutions and evaluate new technology
Responsible for architectural design and implementation of applications in the Cloud
Collaborate with product management to architect and design solutions and requirements
Development and deployment of microservices
Manage implementations of Cloud Services
Guide team members and other teams on how our tools and products work
Ensure solution and operations reliability
Writes quality, standardized code, and establishes the best approach to solving code-writing standards to support colleagues with less experience
Avoids blockages by asking internal business or product owners for clarifications
Motivated, it is continuously perfected in the technologies used by the team, through internal and external trainings
Test your own work and perform bug-fixing
Constantly supports the QA engineers
Acts as a team player and as a good colleague, offers advice, insights, and guidance to other less experienced colleagues

What will you need

2 - 4+ years of relevant work experience in developing software products
Thorough understanding of cloud computing
Understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js, Express, etc.
Programming skills in JavaScript and Node.js
Experience managing cloud-native applications in Docker containers
Experience in developing microservices in Cloud
Familiarity of working with Message Brokers: RabbitMQ
Experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns, and best practices
Frontend experience with React.js (nice to have)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Proactive, identifies problems and proposes solutions, can fill their responsibilities autonomously
Always in the process of professional and personal development
Ability to work as a team player and as a good colleague; sociable
Ability to structure and present their ideas and proposals clearly
