D-NETWORK is looking for a Lead IT Infrastructure/ Network Engineer for a big actor based in Antwerpen. Permanent recruitment, CDI contract, internal function - no freelancer for this role.

Mandatory : Dutch Speaker + fluent in English (French is a plus).

Tasks :

• You lead infrastructure projects (network upgrades, datacenter modernization, hybrid cloud)
• You install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, storage, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backups system.
• You contribute to long-term IT strategy, define multi-year roadmaps and budgets, and support datacenter modernization and consolidation,
• You monitor infrastructure performance daily, You are able to manage risk assessments You design infrastructure solutions and liaise with Automation teams on OT-related infrastructure
• You work with a Senior System Administrator to maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity,
• You manage technical documentation, disaster recovery plans, and support compliance efforts, including NIS2 requirements,
• You collaborate with Cyber Security, SecOps, and business managers to align on security, compliance, and trusted IT support.

Profile:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT Infrastructure, or equivalent by experience,
• You have min 10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure management,
• An experience in industrial/OT-heavy environments is a strong plus,
• You manage disaster recovery, high availability, OT infrastructure, and IT facilities (UPS, racks, cabling, datacenter operations),
• You have senior-level expertise in Cisco networking, VMware, enterprise storage, backup, and virtualization,
• You are capable of leading and executing infra projects independently,
• You have a strong troubleshooting and preventive mindset,
• You are skilled at working across technical, business, and vendor interfaces,
• Certifications such as Cisco, VMware, Microsoft Azure, or equivalent infrastructure certification are an asset,
• You are fluent in Dutch and English - knowledge of French is a strong advantage.
