eu-LISA is the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice.INTRAWORK provides highly qualified professionals to EU institutions, international organizations, and leading technology companies. We specialize in connecting experts with impactful roles across Europe. Selected candidates will be employed by INTRAWORK and assigned to work on-site at eu-LISA in Strasbourg.
Location: Strasbourg, France (on-site, with possible missions)
The Security Officer ensures the secure operation and performance of eu-LISA’s physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.
As part of the Security Technical Support Team, the officer will manage system maintenance, supervise contractors, support incident response, and ensure compliance with EU security standards.
- Operate and maintain physical security systems and equipment
- Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
- Supervise external service providers and monitor SLAs
- Manage system lifecycle, including upgrades and decommissioning
- Support incident response and maintain detailed technical documentation
- Proven experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection systems
- Experience managing external contractors and technical service contracts
- Knowledge of IT/network integration (e.g., IP-based CCTV, access control)
- Understanding of EU or international security standards
- Excellent organizational, diagnostic, and reporting skills
- EU SECRET clearance or readiness to initiate the process with our support
- Recent criminal record certificate (not older than 30 days) and copy of ID/passport required before start
- English: minimum level B2 (spoken and written)
- French: minimum level B2 (spoken and written)
