You will make an impact in the following way:

  • Further development and maintenance of our network security solution macmon NAC, continuously enhancing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the platform to ensure robust security, high availability, and seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure
  • Independently implement customer-specific developments by translating client requirements into tailored software solutions
  • Take ownership of software projects from concept through deployment, ensure clear and comprehensive documentation for both internal teams and clients, and implement systematic testing and validation processes to guarantee quality and reliability
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and security best practices, providing constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance


What you will bring:

  • Education – Degree in computer science or comparable professional training
  • Experience – 2+ years of experience in application software development
  • Tech stack – Excellent knowledge of Java programming (Java 8+), practical experience with multithreading, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit, REST architecture and API communication
  • Frameworks & tools – Eclipse or IntelliJ and Git and solid knowledge of MySQL, proficient use of the Linux command line
  • Networking – Experience in network management (VLAN, IP, SNMP, MIB) is a big plus
  • Personality – Detail-oriented, passionate about creating scalable solutions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in English and German (at least C1)
