At Bees & Bears, we’re a Climate FinTech on a mission to unlock capital for the energy transition. We believe finance is the key to accelerating the shift toward a sustainable future. The challenge ahead is massive: by 2050, the world needs to invest €150 trillion (!) to reach climate neutrality. 65% of this investment will need to be financed through loans.

What we do:

We work closely with installers of climate hardware such as solar systems, energy storage, and heat pumps — enabling their customers to finance installations easily through monthly installments. Our platform provides the technical and financial foundation to make this happen. In doing so, we’re actively accelerating the energy transition — for households, for our partners, and for the planet.

We’ve recently secured €500 million in funding commitments to green 25,000 households over the next two years. Prior to that, we raised two funding rounds backed by several renowned VCs — and we’ve been growing rapidly ever since.

Tasks:

• Build a deep understanding of installer and borrower needs through continuous discovery, interviews, and data analysis.
• Analyze the competitive and regulatory landscape to identify differentiation opportunities.
• Define, prioritize, and sequence roadmap initiatives balancing customer impact, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Write clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to translate strategy into executable work.
• Design and reason about complex systems—defining product architecture, data models, and APIs that integrate across multiple internal and partner platforms.
• Partner with engineering to shape technical decisions and ensure data consistency, scalability, and reliability.
• Operate across both strategic and execution layers — from defining product vision to managing backlog and delivery cadence — bridging classic Product Management and Product Owner responsibilities.
• Monitor product health through metrics, dashboards, and user feedback; identify iteration opportunities and validate them through experiments.
• Ensure compliance, privacy, and performance are embedded in all product designs and releases.

Requirements:

• Multiple years of professional experience as a Product Manager (m/f/d), preferably in lending/credit/embedded finance (or adjacent fintech).
• Strong stakeholder management and crisp written/spoken communication.
• Solid product craft, from discovery to launch.
• Technical fluency to collaborate with engineers.
• Data-driven and pragmatic: skilled at using analytics and user insights to guide prioritization and validate impact, with a focus on fast, iterative delivery.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
