Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to design, build, and deploy data-driven products using modern machine learning methods.
  • Implement and operationalize ML models on cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) and ensure reliable integration into production environments.
  • Maintain smooth operations across systems, with continuous improvements in quality, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Define and implement best practices in MLOps, optimize existing applications, and introduce new tools and methods to enhance the ML infrastructure.
  • Work closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to support the complete lifecycle of ML models—from conception and development to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.


Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in software engineering and development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL, particularly in data engineering and high-performance data applications.
  • Practical experience with cloud services (preferably GCP), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.
  • Comprehensive understanding of MLOps principles and experience managing models throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical abilities, structured working style, and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
