What You Will Do
- Reporting to the Technical Lead Manager (Open Source Engineering), you will build exciting pieces of new technology within Falco, its libraries and ecosystem tools, and other open source projects like OSS Sysdig, StratoShark, and Wireshark
- You will become a contributor and maintainer of these open source projects
- You will partner with users and adopters to engage with these tools and help fix reported bugs.
- You'll help grow community engagement and adoption by supporting users, speaking at events like KubeCon, and sharing insights through talks and blog posts
- Understand with system and network security, Linux internals, eBPF, Containers, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with performance optimization, memory safety, and large-scale data processing
- Expertise in developer advocacy, community building, or other DevRel activities
- Experience leading meaningful contributions to OSS communities
- Experience as a Software Engineer, in cloud-native or security domains
- Solid programming skills in the following languages: C/C++, Golang, or Rust
- Demonstrated contributions to open-source projects
- Fluency in English, with written and verbal communication skills
