Senior Electronics Engineer
Edge Autonomy Riga is an international company with its main office in the USA, and we are part of the Redwire group. We specialize in the development, manufacturing, and integration of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electro-optical surveillance systems. Our products are widely used in defense, security, civil, and industrial sectors around the world. As the Senior Electronics Engineer at Edge Autonomy, you will be a pivotal player in our mission to develop UAV avionics and other electronic boards for support and production equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to design and develop best-in-class performance systems.
Requirements:
Lead the design and development of electronic PCBs, ensuring they meet high standards of performance and reliability.
Oversee the development of complex wiring harnesses, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical and electronic systems.
Ensurethoroughdocumentationofalldesignprocesses,frominitial concepts to final production, maintaining clear and precise records.
Collaborate with other teams in order to design and produce integrated solutions.
EnsurethatthePCBsareproperlydesignedandtestedelectrically, mechanically (vibration/shocks) and thermally.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in electronics engineering, with a focus on circuit design, PCB design and electro-mechanical systems.
Proficiency with simulation and scripting tools.
Experience in analog, digital and power converter circuit design.
Very good understanding of PCB design thermodynamic aspects, EMC, mechanical loads etc.
Knowledge of digital interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
Understanding of high-speed, low-noise, and low-emission design.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
Strong documentation skills, with an emphasis on clarity and details.
