Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Financial Services Consulting – Alternatives Senior Manager (m/f/d). What if it was you? 

  

Your mission:  Our Alternatives Advisory team is growing and we are looking for an experienced Manager (m/f) to join our dynamic Alternatives Advisory team. 

The team specialises in Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt and helps their Alternative Investment clients, such as fund managers and their service providers, to master a range of projects at different phases of their business cycle with a specific focus on the clients’ strategy, operations, processes and systems. 

In this role, you will participate in the realisation of assignments for PwC clients, related to the financial sector with a specific focus on the clients` strategy, operations, processes and systems.  

The Alternatives Advisory team delivers “360-degree solutions”, well-tailored to the individual client’s needs, supporting them throughout their entire projects, from kick-off over process design to implementation and change management, looking at the whole range from governance to IT. Typical engagements include: health-checks; target operating model analysis, design and implementation; market studies, benchmarking and vendor selection exercises; as well as process improvement projects. 

 

 

Be a part of our team where you will:  

  • Be responsible for driving deliveries of large projects, managing respective project teams, reporting to Senior Managers and above; 
  • Manage the project team to provide support on the optimization of the client`s performance in fields such as organisation, project management, operational tasks, process implementation or data analytics; 
  • Review deliverables, train, coach and supervise staff; 
  • Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen; 
  • Evaluate team performance and help more junior members with their career management; 
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges; 
  • Responsible for the financial management of clients; 
  • Involved in developing new services and solutions; 
  • Assist with business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients and the preparation of relevant “go to market” material; 
  • Represent the PwC brand externally, participating in market-relevant events, delivering presentations; 
  • Build a strong network of business contacts, both internally and externally, with a strong focus on client relationships; 
  • Strengthen your existing knowledge of the Alternative Investment industry, the regulatory and operational framework and market practice; 
  • Travel at times be required for business. 

 

Let’s talk about you. If you 
  • Have a minimum of ten years professional experience gained from consulting, asset management or asset servicing firms; 
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Alternative Investment industry globally and especially locally; 
  • Are familiar with the regulatory framework of the industry; 
  • Are flexible and able to manage several projects at the same time; 
  • Have a proven ability to coach and develop more junior colleagues; 
  • Are capable of managing small and large project teams, overseeing budgets and timelines; 
  • Excel at building and maintain relationships internally with the PwC network and externally with key market players and most importantly: clients; 
  • Have advanced computer skills (MS Office); 
  • Possess excellent command of of written and verbal communication of complex ideas effectively - in English, both written and oral. Additional languages, such as French, German or Luxembourgish will be considered an advantage;
  • Possess knowledge of or experience with alternative investment specific software as well as technical experience on for example Power BI, SQL, AI is an asset.
