Role: Group Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Renumeration: €150,000 - €200,000 + bonus + equity
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Flexibility to travel across NL)
Finatal is currently retained with a Private Equity-backed Financial Services business rapidly scaling via a buy-and-build strategy. The group is now seeking an experienced Group COO to lead and implement key operational structures, with current revenues of c. €100M and 400 FTEs.
Core Mandate:
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop, plan, and integrate strategic direction and growth plans. Oversee the implementation of new systems, metrics, business plans, and strategies focused on revenue growth and cost efficiency.
- Operational Excellence & Scalability: Design and implement group-wide KPIs and dashboards to monitor utilisation, client satisfaction, turnaround times, and margin. Establish consistent operational standards across all offices, ensuring scalable processes and service quality. Improve productivity and efficiency by targeting EBITDA margin expansion through process optimization and cost discipline.
- Commercial Enablement: Systematise cross-sell opportunities across service lines. Collaborate with leadership to develop resource planning and delivery models that align client demand with internal capacity.
- Risk & Compliance: Strengthen risk management and compliance oversight, ensuring adherence to Dutch regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks. Implement regular operational audits and compliance checks across the group.
Essential Requirements:
- Language requirements: fluency in English and Dutch.
- Flexibility to travel across all sites
- Private Equity experience or track record within an established Professional services business.
