What you’ll do

• Develop and advise on visualization and XR projects — from research data visualizations to XR proofs-of-concept.
• Collaborate with researchers, educators, and innovation teams across the Netherlands and Europe.
• Build demos and experiments using tools like ParaView, VTK, Unity/Unreal, or Blender.
• Track emerging trends in visualization, XR, and related fields such as AI/ML and HPC.
• Contribute to events, workshops, and strategy development in this fast-moving domain.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience in visualization, 3D, or XR software development.
• A relevant degree (e.g. Computer Science, Game Studies).
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, flexibility, and a passion for technology in research and education.

• A dynamic, impactful role (0.8–1.0 FTE) in a small expert team.
• Salary: €5,191–€7,415 gross/month, plus holiday pay and year-end bonus.
