Experienced Java Developer

You’ll be working mostly in Java, Spring Boot, and Docker, with the possibility to get involved in mobile app development (Flutter/Android/iOS). The role is primarily focused on internal product development, not client outsourcing.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining backend applications in Java and Spring Boot
• Using Docker for local development, testing, and deployment
• Participating in architecture and security design discussions
• Ensuring code quality and implementing secure development practices
• Supporting mobile app development
• Identifying technical improvements and optimizing existing processes
• Collaborating with teammates during regular weekly meetings

We expect candidates to have:

• Proven experience in Java development
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot and Docker
• Several years of experience in backend or full-stack software development
• Understanding of secure coding principles
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently within a small team
• Interest in mobile app technologies (Flutter, Android, iOS)
• Fluent Slovene (spoken & written) and good English skills
• Positive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to share knowledge
