About this Role
We are seeking an experienced IP Network Operations Engineer to join our Core IP Operations team at VOIS. This role offers the opportunity to work within one of Europe’s most advanced IP transport networks, collaborating with a diverse international team and engaging with leading ISPs and OTT providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring service continuity, maintaining cybersecurity compliance, and driving automation across IP technologies.
What you’ll do
- Ensure uninterrupted service delivery and adherence to SLA targets
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for incident and problem resolution
- Maintain cybersecurity compliance aligned with CBS guidelines
- Manage the lifecycle of IP technologies across the network
- Design and implement automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
Who you are
- Proficient in IP protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, L2VPN, and L3VPN
- Experienced with Cisco platforms such as ASR9K, Nexus 9K, and NCS (IOS-XR, IOS-XE, NX-OS)
- Familiar with containerisation and CI/CD tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins
- Knowledgeable in SDN, NFV, and network security principles
- Holds a STEM university degree
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IP network operations or engineering
- Cisco CCNA-level certification or equivalent training is advantageous
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
