🌟 What You’ll Do

As a Technical Product Manager – Release Engineering, you’ll define and drive the strategy that empowers Volvo’s commercial digital products to be released confidently and continuously. You’ll work at the intersection of DevOps, CI/CD, platform automation, and developer experience, enabling teams to deliver faster, safer, and smarter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the Release Engineering roadmap aligned with Volvo’s digital platform strategy.
• Partner with engineering teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, and automation tooling.
• Define standards and best practices for secure, compliant software delivery.
• Collaborate with Developer Experience (DevExp) teams to expand Golden Path templates for scalable onboarding.
• Lead initiatives in release automation, metrics visibility, and deployment safety (canary releases, rollbacks, feature flags).
• Monitor and improve delivery KPIs (DORA metrics, build performance, failure rates).
• Act as a technical advisor, helping teams optimize pipelines and troubleshoot release challenges.
• Champion a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and developer empowerment.

🧠 What You Bring

You’re a strategic, technically-minded product leader who thrives in engineering-driven environments.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years in technical product management, DevOps, or release engineering.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security, Docker, container registries, and cloud-native tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of DORA metrics and data-driven delivery improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A mindset focused on collaboration, scalability, and developer enablement.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with feature flagging, A/B testing, or experimentation platforms.
• Background in platform or infrastructure engineering.
