Job Description:

Are you a seasoned software engineering leader with a passion for AI and a track record of building innovative products? As the Senior Director of AI & Machine Learning, you'll play a critical role in shaping and delivering cutting-edge solutions that redefine industries and create transformative impact.

What You'll Do:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• AI Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with our company's mission and objectives.
• Technical Vision: Provide technical leadership and guide the team in implementing AI technologies to drive venture success.
• Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of AI-driven products and services, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with venture goals.
• AI Research Collaboration: Forge collaborations with cutting-edge research labs and experts to leverage the latest advancements in AI.
• Innovation: Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore novel AI approaches and technologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and business development, to bring AI-driven ventures to life.
• Technical Excellence: Ensure best practices in software engineering, including architecture, coding standards, testing, and documentation.

What You'll Bring:

• Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field. (non-negotiable)
• A publication record in any of the following or related modeling paradigms: LLMs/SLMs/multi-modal models/probabilistic graphical models/Bayesian networks/deep learning/reinforcement learning/time series/active learning/fair and interpretable AI/optimization for machine learning. (non-negotiable)
• Experience in any of the deep learning frameworks. (non-negotiable)
• AI Expertise: Strong expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. (non-negotiable)
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing software engineering teams, with a track record of successful product development.
• Technical Acumen: Deep technical knowledge and the ability to guide the team in implementing AI solutions.
• Innovation: A passion for exploring new AI approaches and technologies to drive venture success.
• Strategic Thinking: The ability to align AI strategies with broader business objectives and market needs.
• Adaptability: The agility to navigate a dynamic and ever-evolving technology landscape.
