About the Role
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Product Owners to join our Product Management team, supporting the development and success of our new platform project. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Manager to oversee key components of the system, ensuring the timely delivery of features across modules such as the sportsbook, finance, risk management, event management, and more. You will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the development and delivery of specific modules within the new platform project (e.g., sportsbook, finance, risk management, event management, or others).
- Work closely with the Product Manager to align your module’s goals with the overall product vision and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, finance) to define product features and ensure successful implementation.
- Write clear and detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and customers.
- Prioritize the product backlog for your module, balancing immediate needs with long-term goals.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and insights to improve the user experience.
- Ensure quality control throughout the development process and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working with development teams in sprints.
- Experience with sports betting systems or other high-volume transaction platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data flow, and system integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the sports betting industry is a plus.
