At Check Point, we are seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to head our Sales Engineering team for the Northern European region, which forms part of our Western Europe organization.

Northern Europe is one of the largest and most strategic regions for Check Point in EMEA. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with the Western Europe management team and your peer SE Directors, while reporting directly to the VP of Sales Engineering, Western Europe.

You will be responsible for defining and executing the regional pre-sales strategy, including planning, enablement, and resourcing. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving growth, strengthening customer success, and accelerating the adoption of Check Point’s cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies. Experience leading teams through digital transformation or similar complex technology shifts is a strong advantage.

This role requires approximately 50% travel across the region, and you will engage directly with customers and partners as a trusted C-level peer and advisor, representing Check Point’s strategic and technical vision at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Sales Engineering organization across Northern Europe, ensuring operational excellence and talent development.
  • Partner with the Western Europe leadership team to define and execute strategic objectives that drive business growth and customer success.
  • Act as a strategic C-level advisor to key customers and partners, shaping their cybersecurity vision and long-term technology roadmap.
  • Ensure all SEs are fully enabled, up to date on emerging technologies, and delivering exceptional value to customers and partners.
  • Monitor and drive key KPIs, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Represent Check Point as a spokesperson and thought leader in executive forums, industry events, and market engagements.
  • Drive innovation to enhance pre-sales efficiency, customer engagement, and solution delivery.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and collaborate across business units to influence strategic direction and product development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT, with senior leadership in pre-sales or technical sales.
  • Proven executive leadership experience managing and developing Sales Engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market, enterprise customer environments, and evolving technology trends.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a results-driven, action-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills at the executive level.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • A proactive, creative problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
